What length and type of mast ladder should you order for your yacht?
It should be assumed that the smallest required mast ladder length is the distance P, from the top of the mast to the height of the boom. If the ladder is longer, it does not interfere with its use on a given sailboat.
It also happens that customers who ordered a MastL mast ladder, with a step height of 43 cm, later note that the ladder steps are too high for them, and climbing the mast is difficult.
Remember that the MastL mast ladder model is designed for tall users, and using this ladder requires a certain amount of “flexibility” like other equipment used in typical climbing. We created this model to have a product in our offer that is sized to match the products offered by our competitors.
For users who expect greater comfort when climbing the mast of a sailing yacht, we offer the MastS models with a step height of 33 cm, and the MastXS with a height of 25 cm.
