Sales to UK from the beginning of 2021

    Brexit Europe

From the beginning of 2021 the rules of paying VAT tax on sales to United Kingdom have changed, which due to Brexit ceased to be part of the European Union.

According to the new regulations, all purchases in our store made by private individuals from the UK will be treated by us as exporting goods outside the EU.

All transactions where the total value of the purchased goods (excluding shipping costs) exceeds the value of £ 135, British VAT (20%) should be paid by the recipient (customer) upon receipt from the courier company.

All transactions where the total value of the purchased goods (excluding shipping costs) is up to £ 135 net, VAT must be charged from the customer at the time of payment and paid to HMRC via the online store. If a customer buys from a Marketplace (such as eBay, Etsy, Amazon) then VAT is charged from the customer through the Marketplace and then paid to HMRC through the Marketplace.

Please be advised that the currently quoted prices for UK offers in our store for a total net value of goods up to £ 135 are gross prices, with 20% UK VAT on the sale of these goods, which we will pay to HMRC in the UK. For transactions with a total value of goods above 135 GBP, the prices quoted are net prices, and you will have to pay tax as for importing to courier company in UK. In order for the tax to be applied correctly, you need to set the currency to GBP in our store if you are a buyer from UK.
