Sales to UK from the beginning of 2021

    Brexit Europe

From the beginning of 2021 the rules of paying VAT tax on sales to United Kingdom have changed, which due to Brexit ceased to be part of the European Union.

According to the new regulations, all purchases in our store made by private individuals from the UK will be treated by us as exporting goods outside the EU.

All transactions where the total value of the purchased goods (excluding shipping costs) exceeds the value of £ 135, British VAT (20%) should be paid by the recipient (customer) upon receipt from the courier company as import tax.

All transactions where the total value of the purchased goods (excluding shipping costs) is up to £ 135 net, VAT must be charged from the customer at the time of payment and paid to HMRC via the online store. If a customer buys from a Marketplace (such as eBay, Etsy, Amazon) then VAT is charged from the customer through the Marketplace and then paid to HMRC through the Marketplace.

The prices quoted for customers from UK in our store are gross prices, including 20% British VAT. We are VAT registered in UK company and we deliver products ordered from us there under Incoterms DDP. For transactions up to GBP 135 net value of the ordered products, we collect 20% UK VAT from you and pay it to HMRC in the UK. For transactions above GBP 135 net value of the ordered products, we now also collect 20% UK VAT from you and settle it during the import procedure in the UK. You pay all fees in our store and you do not have to deal with any customs procedures and fees when receiving the parcel.
